Wood-like tile is a relatively new trend, but is quickly gaining momentum in the world of flooring. This look below is straight out of paradise, and is a great example of the many colors and textures that wood tile is offered!

As seen in one of our previous blogs highlighting the different ways marble flooring can be used in a home, this flooring is super trendy right now. We love this look below because it creates an amazing contrast between the dark hardwood and while marble, which is just one of the many ways you can create a mixed-media floor.

If you’re looking to make a bold statement and incorporate color and pattern in your flooring choice, tile is the way to go. The photo below is just one example of tile that isn’t too loud, but still creates an amazing pattern to go along with other bright colors within a home. Industrial style spaces are a popular home trend, and polished concrete flooring lends a huge hand to this trend. It is definitely a harsher flooring type, but when paired with the correct room design elements, it can make for a super sophisticated space.

Thus far in 2016, we are finding that grey is the new black! Grey tile, hardwood, and laminate are being installed in more and more in homes and establishments alike. The photo below shows wood tile in shades of grey incorporated beautifully into a kitchen space that we love.

Rustic style homes are at the top of our list, featuring hardwood floors that might as well be from a repurposed barn – and we love it! The variations in the wood grain of this kitchen pictured below create a vintage look and give the space a more casual vibe.
